Tips for moving from the professionals

Roll'en Hills wants to be sure that you have the most pleasant and hassle-free moving experience that we want to give you some tips to some avoidable problems, so that you can have the most satisfying and stress-free move.
- Here are a few things you might want to do prior to the big day.
- Move, disconnect, or cancel all electric, phone, water, cable, and disposal companies.
- Defrost all freezers and refridgerators and place a deodorizer or baking soda inside to control odors.
- Make sure all items are out of the attic and double check all dressers, shelves, and garage to be sure all items have been collected and are not being left behind.
- Be sure to carry all jewelry, money, and important documents to the new location yourself.
- Make sure that cellphones or two-way radios are charged so that you may be reached.
Packing Tips
- Use strong boxes or containers.
- Use clothes and linens to wrap fragile items.
- Pack all medicine in a leak-proof container, clearly marked.
- Label each box by room and mark if FRAGILE!
- Don't make boxes too heavy.
- Pack refriderated items in a cooler with ice, and unpack immediately upon arrival at new location.
